Projects
Projects from educational robots to defined industrial or service applications, with reproducible designs and documented testing.
Participation requirements
- Be 18 or older
- Physical builds use the participant’s own equipment and follow the safety procedures below
Participation rules
- Safety procedures cover moving parts, batteries, electrical systems and operation around people.
- Designs and tests are documented so others can reproduce them.
- Autonomous functions are used responsibly, with clear limits and the ability to stop the system safely.
Expected outcomes
- Working robotic prototypes
- Documented designs
- Test evidence
- Demonstrated engineering skills
Examples of completed work
Completed work will be published here only with the participants’ permission, once the first projects are finished.
Certificates, costs and external requirements
When programs open, each listing will state its cost, any external requirements (such as equipment or software) and whether a certificate is issued. MTI certificates document completed non-credit continuing education; they are not degrees or professional licenses. MTI does not claim accreditation or partnerships that have not been documented.
