About Course

A continuing education program for designing reliable business automations with n8n, APIs and AI agents with well-defined limits. The focus is choosing the right process, running it safely and escalating to a person when needed.

Who it is for

Operations analysts, consultants and technically confident business users. Spreadsheet logic and basic web knowledge help.

What you will achieve

  • Build a working integration with retries, logging and approvals — not a fragile demo.
  • Produce documentation useful for an internal automation proposal or a consulting project.
  • Estimate usage costs and maintenance effort before committing the business to a workflow.

Courses in the program

The program combines 5 eight-hour courses in sequence, for a total of 40 hours.

AUT101 · 8 h

AI Process Automation — Introductory

Map repetitive work, choose the right process to automate and build your first workflow in n8n.

AUT102 · 8 h

AI Process Automation — Intermediate

Build an AI-assisted workflow with decision steps, human approval and exception handling.

AUT103 · 8 h

Integrations with APIs and Webhooks

Read API responses, manage credentials and connect forms, data and notifications using test accounts.

AUT104 · 8 h

Workflow Reliability and Security

Add retries, duplicate-run control, logging, access restrictions, failure alerts and cost limits.

AUT105 · 8 h

Operational Automation Project

Demonstrate an end-to-end workflow, simulate a failure and deliver a handover guide and cost estimate.

Planned breakdown: 12 h of guided instruction + 18 h of structured practice + 10 h of assessed activities. These components are already included in the total hours.

How you are assessed

  • Complete the sequence of courses and the core exercises
  • Submit the program’s final project
  • Score at least 70% on assessments and on the project rubric
  • One project feedback and revision cycle is included

Professional relevance

Useful for operations, integration and automation work. There is no official employment projection specific to n8n specialists. We do not promise a job, salary or hiring date.

External costs

n8n can be used as a cloud trial or installed for free. AI API usage costs, if any, are paid by the student and are usually low for the exercises.

Terms

  • Clock hours: 40 hours
  • Total tuition: $600.00 — $15 per clock hour
  • 12-month access
  • Program certificate issued in the USA by Milestone Technology Institute LLC, listing the courses completed, date and clock hours
