About Course

Design digital products people can actually use, with research, systems and AI as your co-pilot.

This program teaches the complete product design process: understanding users through research, structuring information, sketching wireframes, building visual UI systems, prototyping and running usability tests. You also learn how to use AI tools responsibly to speed up research synthesis, ideation, copy and design-system work without giving up human judgment. Every course is self-paced and uses free tools such as Figma's free plan, FigJam, Google Forms and free AI assistants. You finish with an end-to-end case study ready for your portfolio.

44 hours · 7 courses, from Explore to Advance, ending with a final project · Certificate of completion · 12-month access

Who it is for

Career changers, developers, marketers, product owners and small-business teams who want practical UX/UI skills to design or improve websites and apps.

Prerequisites

No design experience is required; basic computer skills and a free Figma account are enough to start.

What you will be able to do

  • Plan and run lightweight user research and turn findings into personas and journey maps
  • Structure content and flows with information architecture, user flows and wireframes
  • Create accessible, consistent interfaces with a component-based UI system in Figma
  • Prototype, test and iterate a product experience, using AI assistance with clear review steps

Course Content

UXD101 · Foundations of User Experience (4 h)
Understand what user experience design is, the core principles and heuristics behind usable interfaces, and how accessibility and ethics shape every design decision.

  • Lesson 1 · What user experience really means
  • Lesson 2 · Principles and heuristics of usable design
  • Lesson 3 · Accessibility, inclusion and ethics
  • Lesson 4 · Lab and assignment
  • UXD101 Assessment · Foundations of User Experience

UXD102 · User Research and Personas (4 h)
Plan and run small, ethical user research studies, then turn raw notes into clear insights, evidence-based personas and journey maps that guide design decisions.

UXD103 · Information Architecture and Wireframes (6 h)
Organize content so users can find what they need, validate structure with card sorting and tree testing, map user flows and translate everything into clear, annotated wireframes in Figma.

UXD104 · Visual Design and UI Systems (6 h)
Turn wireframes into polished, accessible interfaces using visual hierarchy, typography and color principles, and build a reusable component-based UI system in Figma.

UXD105 · Prototyping and Usability Testing (8 h)
Build interactive prototypes in Figma, plan and run rigorous usability tests, measure task success and satisfaction with standard metrics such as SUS, and turn findings into prioritized design iterations.

UXD106 · AI-Assisted Design Workflows (8 h)
Use AI assistants responsibly to speed up research synthesis, ideation, UX writing and design-system work, verify every output, and design AI-powered features that users can understand, trust and correct.

UXD107 · Final Project: Designing a Product Experience End to End (8 h)
Apply the full UX/UI process to one real product problem, from research and structure to a tested, iterated high-fidelity prototype, and present it as a professional portfolio case study.
